Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Lusby, MD seeks a School Psychologist on a contract basis to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success. Qualifications

• Master’s or specialist in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience providing psychological services in a school setting.
• Proficiency in psychoeducational assessments and data analysis.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to supporting an inclusive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers and teams to develop interventions and accommodations
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Assist in the design and implementation of evidence-based programs for students and staff
• Engage in proactive problem-solving and data-driven decision making
• Liaise between families, outside agencies, and school personnel to ensure comprehensive support
