Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for 26/27 school year in Michigan. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, counseling, and collaboration with teachers and families to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology.
• Active Michigan Department of Education Psychologist certification.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of concern.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies and interventions to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with various challenges such as behavioral issues, academic difficulties, and emotional concerns.
• Offer crisis intervention services as needed to address immediate student and school-wide concerns.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations and goals for students with disabilities
