Jobot is seeking a School Nurse for a three-month contract in Olympia Heights, FL. The role is on-site and pays $40–$50 per hour. The nurse will provide direct healthcare to students, promote wellness, and collaborate with staff and families to support student health.

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LPN license, NCSN and CPN certifications, CPR/BLS, and at least five years of pediatric or school nursing experience, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Formación

• Must hold current LPN or RN license.
• National Certified School Nurse (NCSN) certification or equivalent.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to promoting health and wellness in a school setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct healthcare to students, including medications, first aid, and chronic condition management.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans.
• Promote and implement health and safety policies in the school setting.
• Provide health education to students, staff, and parents on nutrition, activity, and disease prevention.
• Monitor immunization records and conduct health screenings.
• Serve as liaison between the school, home, and community on health issues.
• Participate in emergency response procedures development and implementation.
• Advocate for students' physical, emotional, and social health.
