Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Counselor for a full-time, school-based role in Waynesville, NC. You will provide counseling services to K-12 students to promote academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.

Qualifications include NC Professional Educator's License in School Counseling (or eligibility) and a Master's in School Counseling or related field; strong communication and collaboration skills; school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to K–12 students
• Support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success

• Participate in MTSS, IEP, and Section 504 meetings as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
