Job summary
Continuum Resource Network is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Integration Contract Engineer to support production facilities with automation improvements. You will troubleshoot issues, modify PLC code, and develop new Ignition-based SCADA capabilities to empower operators and supervisors.
The role requires hands-on experience with Ignition (Vision & Perspective), PLCs, and integration across plant floor systems, including networking and IT-related troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing SCADA systems in manufacturing.
- Strong experience with Inductive Automation Ignition, including Vision and Perspective modules.
- Proficient in Python/Java and capable of programming complex database queries.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot automation, controls, and manufacturing system issues impacting production operations.
- Review, debug, and modify PLC code to restore line functionality.
- Develop and implement new PLC capabilities, station functionality, and sensor integrations.
- Build and maintain Ignition SCADA applications supporting operators and supervisors.
- Configure Ignition projects based on evolving production needs.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
