Job summary

Colsafety in Coppell, Texas seeks a Contract Training Instructor – Construction & Industrial Safety (1099) to deliver classroom, hands-on, and virtual training across construction, oil and gas, and general industrial markets.

You will prepare, teach, assess, and document training, using company-approved curriculum and real-world examples. Most courses are 1–3 days, with potential shorter or virtual assignments; prior safety-teaching experience and relevant credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching safety courses.
• Field knowledge in construction/oil and gas preferred.
• Ability to teach both in-person and virtual formats.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person and virtual safety training for construction, oil and gas, and general industrial customers.
• Prepare classrooms, training equipment, and practical exercises.
• Assess learner performance and complete all required class documentation.
• Coordinate with the assigned company contact regarding class needs and documentation.
