Job summary

Colsafety is seeking a Contract Curriculum Developer for Construction & Industrial Safety in Coppell, Texas. The role focuses on creating turnkey training courses for in-person or online delivery, with possible updates to existing materials and alignment to current industry standards.

The contractor will work with SMEs and stakeholders to develop course outlines, lesson plans, instructor guides, student manuals, assessments, and video/script content, using company templates and Rise 360 for

Qualifications

• Demonstrated technical or field expertise in construction, industrial safety, oil and gas, or related subjects.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into organized, understandable training content.
• Prior experience teaching, writing, or developing technical materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new in-person or online training courses from initial scope through final deliverable.
• Review, update, or modernize existing courses as standards or business needs change.
• Develop courses in fall protection and working at heights, confined-space entry and rescue, electrical safety, OSHA compliance, and related topics.
• Create complete course packages with outlines, objectives, lesson plans, instructor guides, student materials, and assessments.
• Develop online courses within Articulate Rise 360, including structure, interactions, and publishing requirements.
• Follow templates, standards, and adult-learning principles; participate in scoping, reviews, and approvals.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and ensure original work with proper sourcing.
