Job summary

Tampa General Hospital seeks a Contract Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The role involves delivering patient care across nursing processes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and floating to other units as needed across campus locations.

Must have at least two years of related experience and current BLS/ACLS certification. Shifts are 3 per week with every other weekend commitment in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Must have and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Must be able to work on any unit within the assigned division.
• Must work 3 shifts per week.
• Must work every other weekend.
• Will be required to float to other units at both campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired outcomes.
