Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. This 13-week assignment offers higher base pay and involves floating to related campuses as needed.

The role requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience, current BLS/ACLS certifications, and the ability to work three shifts per week with every other weekend. Flexibility to float between Brooksville and Spring Hill campuses is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Must be able to float to other units within the assigned division.
• Must work 3 shifts per week and every other weekend.
• Will float to Brooksville & Spring Hill campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical practices.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and outcomes.

Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of two years of related work experience.

Must have and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Must be able to work on any unit within the assigned division.

Must work 3 shifts per week*

Must work every other weekend*

Will be required to float to other units at both campuses as needed. (Brooksville & Spring Hill)
