Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Registered Nurse for a contingent MC position in Old Saybrook, CT. The role is on-site with float responsibilities, featuring 7–10 hour clinic shifts and a busy schedule that includes some holidays.

Requirements include a BSN, RN license in the work state, and experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room, plus proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred).

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines and point-of-care testing.
• Proficient with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred.
• RN license in the state of work and a BSN degree are required.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous and topical medications.
• Evaluate complex patient conditions and monitor treatment responses.
• Monitor vital signs and document abnormalities (BP, HR, RR, temp).
• Perform routine assessments and ensure overall patient well-being.
• Coordinate care and connect patients with community resources.
• Review medications for side effects and interactions.
• Document medical history accurately in electronic records.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
