Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking a Contract Registered Nurse (RN) in Pflugerville, TX to provide high-quality nursing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The RN will deliver care based on nursing assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop Individual Support Plans. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least one year of nursing experience with individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience providing nursing services to individuals with disabilities.
• Valid Registered Nurse (R.N.) license in good standing.
• Strong understanding of community-based support for persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and health care procedures ordered by a physician.
• Conduct nursing assessments and follow-up visits as needed.
• Ensure individuals attend medical appointments as outlined in their Individual Support Plan.
