Community Options, Inc. in Wayne, NJ is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse to deliver care to individuals with disabilities in a community setting.

The RN will follow the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, while engaging with individuals, families, and health team members to uphold professional standards. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and an active RN license, with at least one year of experience with disability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing is required.
• RN license is required and driving license preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Nursing clinical skills and patient care expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and health care procedures ordered by a physician and required by standards.
• Ensure individuals attend medical appointments per their ISP.
• Maintain health reports and physician recommendations.
• Conduct trainings including medication administration and delegation.
• Develop and update ISP/PCP with interdisciplinary team.
