Job summary

Flying High is seeking an RN instructor to teach CNA classes and supervise student clinical experiences. The role uses prepared curriculum to deliver in-class instruction and skills training, guiding learners weekdays from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license with Train the Trainer certification and has documented long-term care nursing experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license with Train the Trainer certification and 3200 hours of nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information; respond professionally and confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNA classes using adult education strategies.
• Create an engaging learning environment and strong student-instructor interaction.
• Prepare students to demonstrate skills before patient care.
• Supervise and observe student clinical experiences.
• Develop positive relationships to help students become work-ready.
