Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a Contract Specialist in Lancaster, PA, to draft and review contract agreements, manage contract data, and maintain files. You will negotiate with subcontractors and clients, monitor compliance, and respond to client questionnaires as part of vendor setup.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree with at least two years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

Associate degree and at least two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Paralegal degree preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Draft and review multiple types of contract agreements.
Manage contract data for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date contract files.
Negotiate and correspondence with subcontractors and clients.
Monitor contract compliance.
Assist with responding to client questionnaires as part of the vendor setup process and addressing legal related questions from clients.
Negotiates with customers to draw up client contracts: Negotiating, extensions, terminations, and renegotiating contracts;
Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance with contractual obligations;
Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules in accordance with internal policy;

Contract Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Basic Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree and at least two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal degree preferred.

Knowledge of FAR & DFARS rules and regulations;
Experience in negotiation.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed.
