Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks a Contract Specialist to draft and review diverse contract agreements, manage contract data, and maintain files. You will negotiate with clients and subcontractors and monitor compliance.

Ideal candidates hold at least an associate degree with two years in contracts or paralegal background, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree and at least two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Paralegal degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of FAR & DFARS rules and regulations.
  • Experience in negotiation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review multiple types of contract agreements.
  • Manage contract data for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date contract files.
  • Negotiate and correspondence with subcontractors and clients.
  • Monitor contract compliance.
  • Assist with responding to client questionnaires as part of the vendor setup process and addressing legal related questions from clients.
  • Negotiates with customers to draw up client contracts: Negotiating, extensions, terminations, and renegotiating contracts.
  • Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules in accordance with internal policy.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
