Tampa General Hospital, through InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions, seeks a Contract Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Center on the Tampa campus. The assignment features 13-week contracts with higher base pay, shift differentials, and optional extensions based on coverage needs.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the division, Florida RN licensure, and relevant Endoscopy/OR/procedural background.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN licensure in good standing.
• Endoscopy, OR, or procedural experience required.
• ICU/PACU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Proficiency with Epic Optime Surgical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care under supervision per established policies and guidelines.
• Plan and implement nursing care; document assessments and plans.
• Identify situations requiring intervention and communicate goals of care.
• Uphold patient rights and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Interhealth is currently hiring for 13-week contracts with significantly higher base pay, generous shift differentials and benefits for purchase. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently.

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) preferred)
• Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• Prior Endoscopy, Operating Room, or procedural experience required
• ICU/PACU experience required
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• Proficiency in Epic Optime Surgical documentation.
