Job summary

Tampa General Hospital, via InterHealth Staffing, seeks a Contract Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology on the Tampa Main Campus. The role requires 2+ years in a procedural division, FL RN license, and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment.

This 13-week seasonal assignment offers competitive pay, on-site work, and potential for extension or permanent placement based on unit needs, with day shifts 07:00–17:30 plus on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Experience in a procedural nursing environment such as Interventional Radiology or related labs.
• Demonstrated scrub and/or circulating roles during invasive procedures.
• Experience supporting physicians during image-guided, vascular, or minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients across the continuum of care in a high-acuity setting.
• Perform rapid clinical assessment, establish care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.

The Clinical Nurse provides direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients across the continuum of care. The role requires rapid clinical assessment, sound judgment, and adherence to professional nursing standards in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The Clinical Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates patient-centered care, safeguards patient rights, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Practice is aligned with organizational values, quality improvement principles, and regulatory requirements.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida

Experience in a procedural nursing environment, such as Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiovascular OR, Neuro Interventional, Vascular Services, or a similar invasive procedural setting.

Demonstrated experience in scrub and/or circulating roles during invasive procedures.

Experience supporting physicians during image-guided, vascular, or minimally invasive procedures.
