Job summary

American Avenue Property Management (AA) is seeking an independent Contract Recruiter to source, screen, and close skilled-trades candidates across the U.S. You’ll own your schedule and be paid per qualifying hire, with potential path to full-time depending on performance.

You’ll recruit for turns techs, general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and senior construction roles, using job boards, referrals, and direct outreach while maintaining our hiring standards and background checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for trades, construction, or maintenance roles.
• Experience with high-volume hourly/skilled hiring.
• Ability to work independently and hit targets.
• Familiarity with ATS and Indeed.
• Own equipment and sourcing resources.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage trades and maintenance candidates.
• Screen candidates against role requirements including a vehicle, tools, and license.
• Coordinate interviews and close offers with hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate status in ATS and follow equal‑opportunity standards.
