Job summary

Spectrum Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting across professional and technical roles in New Jersey. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR to identify needs, design sourcing strategies, and drive the process from intake to offer acceptance.

The ideal candidate has strong sourcing skills, can manage multiple requisitions, and has experience in regulated industries such as life sciences or healthcare.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting across multiple functions and levels.
• Recruiting experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Strong sourcing skills with experience identifying and engaging passive candidates.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System; iCIMS experience is a plus.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple requisitions and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience recruiting for senior-level or executive positions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job intake through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Recruit across multiple functions, including corporate, commercial, clinical, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, medical, and R&D.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, ATS databases, professional networks, referrals, and other resources.
• Screen and assess candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
• Manage candidate pipelines and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Assist with offer development, candidate negotiations, and offer acceptance.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the ATS.
• Provide updates on recruiting activity, pipelines, challenges, and hiring progress.
