Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking contract psychiatrists to provide evidence-based mental health care through live 60-minute intake appointments and ongoing follow-ups. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and refer patients to therapy and coaching within a connected network.

You will care for diverse patients, delivering culturally responsive care and leveraging Lyra’s AI-powered platform and support systems for efficient scheduling, billing, and clinical consultations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatry MD/DO required.
• Unrestricted state license in Kentucky; other states a plus.
• Active DEA license preferred.
• Must have office space with ability to see clients.
• Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels; in-person options preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via a 60-minute intake appointment and regular follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Adhere to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care).
