Job summary

Music Ministry International seeks a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator (PREC) for Luke AFB, AZ. The role supports the Protestant Chapel program, assisting the senior Chaplain in providing spiritual care to active duty personnel and families.

Responsibilities include developing RE program growth plans, coordinating events across ages, training volunteers, and ensuring compliant operations. The contract position is 20 hours per week and requires background checks and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Furnish a resume including academic and work related references: include four years’ experience as religious education coordinator or teacher.
• Ability to develop short and long-term growth plan for the RE program in a pluralistic environment; managerial and secretarial skills; computer proficiency.
• Experience working with all ages: children, adolescent, young adult, adult.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member in the Protestant Chapel program; work with chaplain from multiple denominations.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and conduct.
• Ensure facilities are secure, clean and configured for RE programs.
• Assist in development, scheduling and implementation of annual Protestant Religious Education programs for all ages (RE, Sunday School, Bible studies, VBS, PYOC, etc.).
• Participate in continuing education events; maintain training records.
