Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks a Project Controls Analyst for an Ohio-based, 12-month contract on a major life sciences capital program. You’ll support project leadership, analyze schedules, and help deliver world-class results.

You will turn complex Primavera P6 data into actionable insights, build Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with EPCM teams and project managers to anticipate issues and inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience project controls, planning, scheduling, PMO reporting or project data analysis on major construction/EPC/EPCM/engineering projects.
• Hands-on Power BI capability, including dashboard creation or modification, Power Query, data modelling and DAX - not just consuming reports.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6/CPM scheduling: logic, critical path, constraints, baselines, forecasts, float and milestones.
• Experience producing practical schedule lookaheads, variance/exception reporting and concise stakeholder briefings; advanced Excel essential.

Responsibilities

• High-visibility role supporting project leadership across the Site, Central Utilities Building and Tank Farm on a major capital programme.
• Opportunity to turn complex P6 schedule data into clear recommendations that influence decisions before delays occur.
• Strong blend of technical data analysis and stakeholder exposure: dashboards, lookaheads, OAC meeting packs and direct interaction with project managers/EPCM.
