Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, seeks a Project Buyer (Contract) to support North America General Procurement. You will manage contractual data, spend, and tender schedules, and assist Sr/Category Buyers with risk visualization and savings targets.

The role involves coordinating with MFTs, transitioning tendering projects to ordering, and guiding operations with Buyers and internal customers. This position is based on-site in Mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
• PM, Purchasing or Supply Chain certifications desirable.
• Fluency in English; additional languages desirable.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate general procurement transactions to fill business needs and provide internal customers with goods and services.
• Ensure contract storage and data availability in SAP and procurement tools for buyers.
• Establish regular two-way communication with stakeholders in North America and worldwide.
• Prepare spend data analyses for tendering projects and contract amendments.
• Lead or coach junior team members and support directors in setting goals.
• Drive compliance with processes and report savings to Shared Services.
• Develop relationships with functions to improve vendor relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
