Precision is seeking a Contract Program Manager to work in the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD area.

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Chemical Biological Center (CBC), subsequently referred to as DEVCOM CBC or the Center is primarily responsible for the conduct and management of research, development, and life-cycle engineering support of defensive systems. The Center’s mission is to develop, integrate, sustain, and dispose of decisive technology enabled capabilities. The Contract Program Manager will support DEVCOM CBC, along with other Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) defense Organizations, with Mission focused requirements around developing and transitioning technologies, as well as complete life-cycle engineering activities. The Contract Program Manager will work closely with DEVCOM CBC program managers and technical staff to manage a fully qualified team of support staff in the areas of project management, acquisition support, administrative assistance, operational support, and technical expertise integration.

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
  • Serves as the senior point of contact for the DEVCOM CBC PASS contract, responsible for delivery of all contract items and services.
  • Utilizes expert program management techniques and best practices to manage and monitor team performance and activities according to government quality standards.
  • Tracks the cost, schedule, and deliverables related to technical projects and operational assistance related to DEVCOM CBC’s mission objectives.
  • Manages all assigned support staff, to include subcontractors, working closely to monitor project and activity status, issues and risks, and communications with government stakeholders.
  • Acts as a technical expert in the DEVCOM CBC organizational and operational environment, guiding support staff in customer policies and practices.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current Secret clearance is required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in research, development, test, and evaluation organizations.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in program management in a technical environment.
