CapTech Consulting in Columbus, OH, seeks a Contract Product Owner to help clients deliver results on complex IT initiatives. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, shape product visions, and guide agile practice adoption across programs.

The role emphasizes planning, execution, stakeholder management, and change management, with hands-on project work and strong client interaction. This contract position offers exposure to diverse industries and modern benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5+ years in Agile product ownership or project/program management.
• 3+ years with Scrum and/or Kanban.
• SAFe experience.
• Experience in digital product management or agile coaching.
• Proven ability to manage large complex consulting engagements.
• Ability to assess user requirements and design optimal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Establish partnerships with stakeholders to assess and recommend Agile practices and solutions.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to achieve business outcomes.
• Drive product vision and manage impact of new features.
• Develop integrated IT project plans and report milestones.
• Triage and resolve project issues and scope changes.
• Communicate project status to internal and client teams.
• Influence at all organizational levels and implement changes.
• Perform hands-on project work as needed.
