Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract-to-perm role in San Antonio, TX. The float position will cover locations within a 10-15 mile radius, with a Monday–Friday 7am–5:30pm schedule and an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and proper transport of samples, all while maintaining patient relations and compliance with safety regulations. This is a 3-month assignment with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection.
• Label, track, and process specimens with accurate documentation.
• Follow safety, OSHA/DEP regulations and department procedures.
