Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in San Antonio, TX. Expected duties include blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing across sites within a 10-15 mile radius. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm (8-hour shift).

The project lasts ~3 months with potential for permanent placement. Benefits are available. Experience with venipuncture and specimen handling is required, along with a valid phlebotomy certification and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have valid phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED with phlebotomy training.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate records of maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Package and transport specimens per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed; attend department trainings.
