Qualifications

• 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with venipuncture in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting preferred.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed as required by some states.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to required temperatures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure OSHA/DEP compliance.
