Hire Consulting Services in Columbia, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The position is on-site in Columbia, MD with a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.

The assignment duration is 3 months with potential conversion and benefits available. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patient handling, valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with venipuncture

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Mansioni

• Perform blood draws and ensure correct specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Attend annual department trainings and comply with regulations.
