Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking a phlebotomist in Columbia, MD, for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and pediatric/geriatric patient exposure. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with benefits available.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate specimens and patient information, while adhering to OSHA/DEP regulations and quality procedures.

Qualificações

• 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience is required.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data: recording maintenance information.
• Explain venipuncture procedure to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Package and transport specimens according to protocol; ensure specimen integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations; participate in department trainings.
