Job summary

Pride Health in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 2-3 month contract at our client’s medical facility. This assignment offers the potential for extension or conversion and a solid entry point with a top-tier healthcare organization.

The role requires accurate blood collection, proper specimen handling, and clear communication with patients while maintaining safety and quality. Flexibility for scheduling and travel to multiple sites is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labelled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct. Maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
