Tom Trese Networking LLC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper transport and storage of samples. The role runs 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial 3-month duration and potential to go permanent.

The position requires venipuncture experience and a valid Phlebotomy certification, plus a High School Diploma or GED. OSHA/DEP regulations must be followed, and basic Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and labels specimens correctly.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique using straight or butterfly needles.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings and ensure proper specimen transport and storage.
