Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to support blood collection activities in Rock Hill, SC. Shift is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an initial 3-month contract and potential to convert to permanent employment.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and recording maintenance data while ensuring proper patient communication and adherence to OSHA/DEP procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 1 year of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and handle specimens per established procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens accurately.
• Record maintenance data and ensure patient information is up to date.
• Explain venipuncture procedures to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
