Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, data recording, and specimen transport. Valid phlebotomy certification and 6 months' experience are required, with OSHA/DEP compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and manage data maintenance.
• Match requisitions to tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly.
• Ensure specimens are stored per protocol and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
