Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a skilled phlebotomist to perform blood draws, specimen labeling, and related duties in a fast-paced setting in Rock Hill, SC. You will collect, label, and transport specimens, ensure patient information accuracy, and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.

The role is contract-based with a projected 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement. Minimum certification and experience required; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process and other specimen collection as required.
• Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocol.
