Job Juncture is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role at facilities in Rockville, MD and Gaithersburg, MD. The position involves venipuncture, specimen handling, labeling, and data recording in a fast-paced lab environment with potential for permanent placement.

Requirements include a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 5 years of venipuncture experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits are available; schedule is M-F 7am–5pm, duration ~3 months with perm potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 5 work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing venipunctures and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens per test order.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen information.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and safety procedures.
• Attend departmental trainings and update procedures as required.
