Job Juncture is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Germantown, MD. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, with every other Saturday 8am–12pm. Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Maintain accurate patient information.
