Talent With Heart is seeking a Phlebotomist for a temporary contract in Imperial, CA and nearby areas. The role is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.

The position may float to Brawley and Calexico as needed, with mileage expenses paid and a clean driving record required. Paid at $23.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, with grantable benefits available.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles and follow physician orders.
• Match lab requisition forms to specimens and prepare for transport.
• Check test requisitions against scripts to ensure accuracy and package specimens properly.
• Store specimens per required temperatures and label containers correctly.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and relay lab results as needed.
