Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a contract Phlebotomist in Saint Petersburg, FL, working Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. The role requires experience with blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining data, with potential for permanent placement after the 3-month project.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, explaining procedures to patients, complying with OSHA/DEP regulations, and attending departmental trainings. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws with proper labeling and handling of specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Explain procedure to patients in a clear, courteous manner and follow physician orders.
