Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Phlebotomist (6218) in Greer, SC. The role is a contract opportunity with a 3-month minimum duration and potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., with benefits available. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of diagnostic phlebotomy experience, valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer phone inquiries and review laboratory results as needed.
