Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring OSHA compliance. Will float to other accounts as needed; mileage paid. Requires valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months' experience. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-12:30.

Location: Kannapolis, NC. Benefits are available. Requires reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist in performing various assigned duties, troubleshooting, training and making workflow recommendations.
Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature control.
Maintain OSHA and DEP compliance and attend annual trainings.
