Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Phlebotomist (contract) for the Gahanna, Ohio area. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience with duties including blood draws, labeling, and specimen handling. Schedule includes 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri and 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Thursday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy.
• Experience labeling specimens and handling specimens.
• Familiar with venipuncture procedures and specimen transport requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures and temp requirements.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and document patient information.
• Demonstrate venipuncture techniques, including straight and butterfly needles.
• Ensure orders are understood and matched to specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and verify lab requisitions.
