The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, a current phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with MS Office. You will work in a fast-paced lab, maintain accurate records, and comply with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data according to procedures.
• Collect and store specimens, explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage conditions and regulatory compliance.
• Attend annual department trainings and respond to inquiries about test results.
