Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract on a 3rd shift (6:30pm–7am) with rotating weekends. The role centers on blood collection, specimen handling, and workflow improvement.

Qualifications include a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital, plus proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; labels, centrifuges, splits, and freezes specimens as required.
• Checks test requisitions against scripts to ensure 100% correctness.
• Packages specimens for transport; stores samples per required temperatures and protocols; adheres to OSHA/DEP regulations.
