Job summary

The J Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Contract Physical Therapist to support infants and toddlers in natural environments. You will lead family training, evaluate motor development, and help create IFSPs as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of pediatric PT experience, a valid RI PT license, and be able to obtain CPR certification. The role reports to the Early Intervention Director and requires a clinical, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Valid RI Physical Therapist license required.
• 2–5 years' experience providing pediatric physical therapy in family-centered settings.
• CPR certification and ability to obtain CPR if not current.

Responsibilities

• Provide family training and counseling to caregivers of infants and toddlers with PT concerns.
• Perform and document physical therapy evaluations and IFSP development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and share information with families and team.
• Mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and maintain licensure through professional activities.
