Job summary

Looking Upwards, Inc is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist in Rhode Island to assess and treat children with developmental delays and mobility challenges. You will apply clinical expertise to observe, evaluate, and develop plans of care using varied techniques to promote mobility.

Looking Upwards, Inc is continually seeking outstanding Early Intervention professionals in multiple specialty areas.

Currently, we need a full time Physical Therapist at Looking Upwards, you should expect to utilize your clinical expertise, observe and evaluate children in order to diagnose specific physical or developmental delays and help create a plan of care which will utilize a variety of techniques in order to promote mobility.

• Starting salary $45.00 per hour with opportunity for growth based on experience and longevity.
• Full time schedule of 35-40 hours with competitive health care coverage, dental and vision plans, optional flex spending account, earned paid and extended sick time.

Qualifications Needed:

• EI Physical Therapist is required to have a valid PT license and be in good standing with the state of RI in order to be considered for this position.
• 2+ years of pediatric experience
• Must be willing to provide home based services throughout RI
• Display strong interpersonal skills
• Able to implement a coaching model when working with families
• Able to work in a trans-disciplinary team
• Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills
• General computer proficiency
