Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse focused on Progressive Care to join a dynamic healthcare environment on a contract basis. The role emphasizes direct patient care in a PCU, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and documentation accuracy.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted RN license, PCU or similar experience, strong assessment skills, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Weekly earnings range is $3,225 - $3,400 with benefits possible.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar critical care/step-down environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in managing complex cases and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
• Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to individuals with evolving and complex medical needs in a PCU setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients responses to interventions and treatments.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform advanced nursing procedures as outlined by the care plan.
• Coordinate with physicians, ancillary professionals, and patient families to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in patient and family education as needed.
• Uphold strict patient safety standards and comply with facility policies and procedures.
