ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse for the night shift in a 13-week contract. The role involves caring for patients in a progressive care unit, performing assessments, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

The position requires 1 year of PCU experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and proficiency with Meditech. Ability to float to other units as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU or similar setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Meditech charting system.
• Candidates must be able to float to other units when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
• Manage patient care plans and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform IV starts and manage IV therapies.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and collaborate in patient assessments.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
