Akkodis is seeking an OT Field Specialist for a contract role based in Carthage, TX. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT infrastructure and OT support, with field support, troubleshooting, and LAN/WAN experience.

The position involves supporting OT systems across gas plants and compressor stations, traveling regularly between facilities, and collaborating with OT NOC and Corporate IT to ensure secure, reliable operations.

• LAN, WAN, network communications, network support
• IT Security Management and protection of systems and information assets
• User administration, monitoring, backups, recovery, access control
• Real-time performance monitoring and issue identification
• Hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Integration of IT systems, applications, and services
• Testing integrated systems against requirements
• End-user support and operational service management
• Process optimization and automation opportunities

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain OT infrastructure across gas plants and compressor stations
• Act as primary OT support resource within assigned district
• Monitor infrastructure components and systems for performance issues and anomalies
• Support OT network topology and infrastructure; assist with deployment and integration of infrastructure components
• Document support requests, resolutions, and troubleshooting activities
• Escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when appropriate
• Participate in disaster recovery and system recovery testing
• Partner with Operations, Project Managers, OT NOC, and Corporate IT
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
