Job summary

Concentra is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to come on site to our Tampa location as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is designed to complement your current practice, with a typical 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly on-site at Concentra.

As part of Concentra Advanced Specialists, you will manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work, and provide both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic care, working with employers and therapy teams in a collaborative case-management

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required or equivalent.
• Licensed physician with board eligibility/certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients on-site with orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries.
• Participate in case management and collaboration with medical/therapy teams.
